About the convention

Welcome to the convention site for the Canadian Association of Railway Modellers, CARM, national convention for 2013 being held at Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario. One of the goals in CARM is to have a convention to allow for the members and guests to learn, teach and share in our common interest of railways whether it be models, prototypical or both. To this end the organization is pleased to present "Bridges to the Future" our convention for 2013.

About Trinity College School

Trinity College School is a co-educational, independent boarding/day school located on 100 acres of rolling countryside in picturesque Port Hope, Ontario, Canada, one hour's drive east of Toronto. The Senior School, Grades 9-12, includes approximately 450 students, approximately 60% of whom are boarders. The Junior School includes nearly 100 day students from Grade 5 to Grade 8.

Established in 1865, TCS is one of Canada's oldest and most respected educational institutions. The School places a balanced emphasis on academics, service learning, athletics and the arts – as both a long-held TCS tradition and a rethought, reinvigorated approach to 21st century education.

Directions to Trinity College School

From Toronto:
Port Hope is a one hour drive east of Toronto. Take Highway 401 eastbound to Port Hope exit 464. Follow the exit ramp and turn to the right to reach County Road 28. Turn left and go southbound on County Road 28 past the fire station on the left to Croft Street. Turn left on Croft Street and take the second street on the right which is Deblaquire Street. The main gates of the School are 30 metres along on the left.

From Montreal:
Port Hope is a five hour drive west of Montreal. Take Highway 401 westbound to the first Port Hope exit which is County Road 28. Go southbound on County Road 28 past the fire station on the left to Croft Street. Turn left on Croft Street and then take the second street on the right which is Deblaquire Street. The main gates of the School are 30 metres along on the left.
